Foundations has a strong partnership with the Kennesaw State University Elementary & Early Childhood Teacher Education program. The school is a regular teacher-training site for student interns enrolled in the Elementary & Early Childhood Teacher Education at KSU and student-teachers are assigned for a full one-year term to assure continuity.
This is a win/win scenario for the University, the graduates and Foundations School students. Our teachers enjoy having more eager assisantance in the classroom. Their presence translates to more one on one time with each of our students. For the Graduates, it is an irreplaceableopportunity to put their classroom knowledge into practice.
Foundations has been implementing an integrated STEM based curriculum since 2004. This gives us a basis for working to educate the graduates on how to keep children motivated and eager to learn.
